Over 400 things to do there, I've only just started, cant wait to go back.

This place has it all, huge lake, mountains, rivers, freindly people, great food, great hotels B&B's. So many things to do, all run by people who want you to have fun and come back in one piece. We went Jet Boating on the Dart River. Brilliant. White Water Rafting, great fun, especialy when my wife almost got swept away, next time I'll pay the safty team to look away. Then there is the Luge, Skyline Gondola, Para-glidding, not forgetting Bungy Jumping. And that in the warmer months, add Snow, and the winter takes another theame.Ski, snow-board, Heli-Ski etc etc.

Great for: Skiing/Snowboarding, Hiking/Camping, Nightlife, Family Holidays

would love to go

I would love to visit this place, but I am afraid that it really is too far to travel for a holiday for me and my family. I think that when I retire and the children have left home then this will be the place for me, untill then I'll be saving up and dreaming of visiting queenstown someday soon!

Breath Taking

I traveled all over New Zealand, I lived there for 5 months, you will never find a prettier place in the world than Queenstown, especially not one that offers such an array of activites. From strolling along the lake, to snowboarding, to a gondolla ride, to bungee jumping, Queenstown has it all, Including a fabulous nightlife.

beautiful , beautiful!

I felt like I was in a fairey tale. What a beautiful, beautiful place! I never wanted to leave. The mountians, the lakes, the snow, the really nice people... The beauty of this place takes your breath away. It really makes you feel closer to God- that He created such a place. I will be back!
