Playa is my favorite part of mexico. Although it has grown and become very touristy at this point. I still go about ever 2-3 months. In fact packing right now to leave. I prefer the small hotels vs. the AI's. I have made great friends with some of the locals and they invite me into their homes and cook. These beautiful people love to eat. Lots to do for all ages. Love Playa and glad to help you if I can as to the area.

(Report Problem)A resort should be considered incompetent when they steal the future and life of a child. THE OCCIDENTAL GRAND XCARET most definitely qualifys as incompetent and negligent. They built a "deathtrap" disguisted as a swimming pool and complied with absolutely no safety standards. A 600 room resort and poor little Brent Midlock was their first victim before they were even open 1 year. The Mexican Government should most definitely decide to get involved in taking some type of actions against this resort. It is completely unacceptable to manslaughter a guest and then the resort denys any wrong doing?? INCREDIBLE More details on www.brentmidlock.com and google.
