Downtown Queretaro is simply beautiful. No wonder why it's a World's Heritage according to Unesco. Hightlights you can't miss: Los Arcos, Museo de Arte de Querétaro, Teatro de la República (the Mexican Constitution was signed here), Templo de la Cruz (check out the cross-shaped spines), Palacio de Gobierno and Plaza de los Perros, Andador Libertad, Plaza de la Corregidora, Fuente de Neptuno, Casa de la Marquesa, Cerro de las Campanas. Also worthed: Nautico at Juriquilla. Where to eat: La Mariposa, Pasto. What to wear: you usually get the four seasons in one day. Be sure to wear something light, but bring a sweater to use at night. Worst heat (never gets too hot): May. Rain season during summer. Might be windy, specially in Autumm. Close-by destinations: San Miguel de Allende, Bernal, Tequisquiapan
