home from home

we stayed in cenang home stay. the couple were very nice and we felt a part of the family. its nice to wake up have a nice cup of coffee and read before going out sightseeing. hospitality was wonderful. even though it was peak time, the room rates didnt change

Great for: Beaches, Scuba/Snorkeling, Hiking/Camping, History/Culture, Budget Travel, Family Holidays

Premium value island

An idyllic island governed by Malaysia. Has some excellent beaches and hotels. Shark free swimming just about anywhere, water clean and warm. Has outstanding attractions once you learn to slow down and absorb features of the island. New chair lift at top of island-outstanding value. Food outlets good, friendly locals. The Prime Ministers museum is an absolute must to go and see-magnificent.Great international go-kart track-that's a must for everyone. Great value island accessable from Penang by ultra fast Jet ferries.

TRADE IT ALL FOR LANGKAWI

i dunno whether you went carribean or paris, for me there is nothing compare to langkawi. a place filled with wonderful memories. year after year i will save up all my money just to go there and party. its the place to be. majestic blue skies and sweet smell of sea breeze. wonderful people. Its paradise!

My Fav Place

Such a beautiful and affodable place. Stay at the Chenang Beach for easy acsess to food and shops.During the night dont forget to have your drinks under the stars at the beach bars with the fine sand under your feet. Total bliss
