Riga is over rated! On the other hand, nowhere else is better than Riga.

Yes, Riga is pretty. Girls are pretty and nice. So what? We have nice and pretty girls in the US. As a matter of fact, we have better and best looking girls of the world in LA, CA. Only difference is that we don't have any direct contact with them. They may be all plastic and fake but sure they look the best. The Latvian girls are all real and I talked to all the best looking girls I saw when I was in Riga and Daugapils in Latvia. I asked them for directions and they all spoke to me and some even took me to those places I didn't really care to go. So what? In return, I invited them to restaurants and bought drinks or snacks. I wasn’t picking up on them but they picked up on me. I was twice or three times older than those pretty girls but they didn't seem to mind at all. They were around late teen to early 20’s. During my stay in Latvia for a month, I got a few intimate relationships with them every week so it was a pretty good trip and the money I spent was well worth while. After all, I got bored with the beautiful young girls and started to miss our over weight, nagging, all American, bitchy girls in LA. Man, I guess we, all men, are stupid. By regretting coming back to lonely LA.

Riga has it all!

Old Riga is one of the best get away destinations of all time in Europe. All the restaurants have great menu in very cheap prices. Everybody speaks English there and trys to help you. This is a tourist freindly town. Food is not the only thing that is cheap. Just about everything is cheap. Women here are exceptionally pretty!!! I can't believe there are so many and they are so pretty. I talk to every woman who came close to me at restaurants, night clubs, and bars and they were so freindly and nice. Some women even asked my phone numbes but I was staying at "Welcome Inn" so giving out my hotel number was not really a help for them. I should have had a local mobile phone. I have to say this but old town Riga has it all. Beautiful girls, great food and drinks and cheap. If you are single and meet some Easter European women, Riga is your final destination. So many nice and beautiful women everywehre in Old Town. I visite MysticCafe.com and met at least 8 most beautiful women in my life. I kept contact with 3 of 8 dates I had and I will return to Riga as soon as I can. I want to move there for good, if I can.

Latvia Rules!

I met more beautiful woman in Riga than any where else in the world.They are very friendly and open,easy to talk to and seem to love Americans.Cant beat this place for staying out late and partying. I never felt like I was in any danger and you cant say that of all places. The prices were resonable and the service was excellent everywhere I went. I will return there every chance I get. I'll go back, maybe to live there!

Riga, and Latvia in general is one of the friendliest, if not THE frendliest places in Eastern Europe. In Old Riga, nearly every shop has at least one English speaker, and if you can speak Russian too, then there are no barriers! Don't just stay in the city center, because you will miss out on seeing all that Riga has to offer. And another thing; get out of the town a few times and see just how beautiful this country is! The beaches in Jurmala are nearly pristine, and the climate in summer is just pure relaxation, except for the one windstorm that nearly sandblasted my hide! There is another excellent beach to the north of Riga that is quite nice, and even better if you don't like commercial ventures every ten meters; Vecaki. But be a bit warned; if you are sensitive to nudists, stay away from the far northern edge of the beach zone. Be a little open minded though. In almost every part of Latvia, a topless lady or nude body is going to be seen, especially during Ligo! (Ligo is the Spring/Summer welcome festival that is not to be missed! Concerts and partying out the wazzoo! Rock, local folk, and even a version of Latvian Country Western. Freaky!) Latvia is the one country in Eastern Europe that I would have no problems relocating to in my retirement years. Life there is easy, and if you know where to go and how to spend your money, it is about a third the cost of living in the cheapest places in the USA!

Excellent!

I liked everithing! It is anbelievable country, just perfect! Architecture so beautiful, interesting. I will go back. And nature is very beautiful.

I can't wait to go back!!!!!!

I liked everything about Riga including all of the tourist attractions. If you are looking for a place to go in Latvia or in all of Europe one of my highest choices would be Riga by far!
