cozy small town feel

Nakuru is a great place to visit if you like the small cozy towns. I didn't particularly care for Nairobi because it is to rush rush and I never felt to safe--reminds me of New York. Nakuru is smaller but has almost anything you need. As you walk, the smell in some spots will blow your hair back (true for most places i visited). Hair salon prices for african american type hair is very resonable but be careful because some use soap from a nearby soap factory instead of shampoo. Great place to unwind.
