I visited Amman in March 2004. I must tell you how wonderful the city and the people are. The conception that Americans have of the Middle East is terrible. I was embraced and welcomed with open arms. I travelled alone and never once was I concerned about safety. There are very many beautiful things to see in and around Amman. I totally recommend everyone to see the beautiful Jordan.
