Last week i have chanced to travel in Fukuoka. The city is relatively new and modernize.Tenjin is the most clowed placed in Fukuoka area.Afterthat I walk down to Daimyo. This place is crowded with young Jap guy.They are so many interesting shop around here.And if u continue working to Yakuin station. U will see one of THAI restaurant called Gaewjai. This one's also very lovely. The food is delicious and real thai cusine.i reccommend u to have dinner over there.the phone no. is 092-733-0061. At the nearly restaurant Bldg,u can take a rest in the beautiful cafe on the second floors. i hope that u will enjoy on this trip like me.

i am not one for shopping but japan has so many stores you kind of have to. i stayed in saga which is about 30 min. on the train from fukouka. saga was pretty small but fukouka was full of life, I went with my girlfriend who is teaching english over there and when all the teachers go out it is to fukouka, there are lots of bars shopping and tons of good food. pretty much all the reastraunts have menus in english also. it is easy to get around,i suggest to go to the tehjin area because it is the main shopping and bar district.
