Sir, \tLast Saturday 25th March I went to Catania together with my wife. We went there with the catamaran San Gwann. We both had a pleasant journey but I am telling you that both we and the rest of the passengers were treated badly on arrival in Catania. 1)\tFirstly the Catamaran was made to moor were there is the container service part of the port and had to walk about 15 to 20 minutes to go out of the complex. 2)\tSecondly after the 3 and quarter hours we spent at sea the immigration officers took 20 minutes to come and see our passports. I say that this is utter shambles the way the authorities in Sicily treated us as we are supposedly EU member’s not 3rd country nationals. I am going to send this letter to The Sicilian authorities and to Virtu Ferries Company. I sincerely hope that this will not happen again. Best regards, Mr. John Mizzi.
