This place is well known amongst locals for its incredible desserts, in particular chocolate: a good deal of different kinds of chocolate from different parts of the globe go into these very rich (and DELIGHTFUL) desserts, which comprise everything from fondue to ice cream. Max Brenner is a good choice to take a significant other at night for a little something sweet after a show and is still unpretentious enough to take along the little ones at any time of day (they do have a decent menu for children, parts of which are not necessarily sweet, so mothers out there can breathe a sigh of relief.) Try the molten chocolate cake and understand what Americans call "death by chocolate," or if you prefer you may take away some chocolates from the considerable sweet shop in the back of the restaurant as a souvenir. Either way, by the time you are finished, the only question you will have is why there aren't more expats and tourists in here.

(Report Problem)This place goes beyond the boundaries of normalcy to offer a child's (and adult's) fantasy catering to the sweet tooth. Any desert you can imagine, and possibly can't, can be found here, and savored. This is a unique experience, and worth a visit or two or three...
