Overall

I am a local and after travelling to several cities around the world, I feel Bangalore is one the most friendly places there is. It is the silicon valley of India, has great weather almost throughout the year and is close to several attractions in the south. There are some drawbacks like increasing traffic and pollution due to increasing population and poor planning. It is heartening to see the numerous private companies getting involved in creating new gardens or reclaiming old ones around the city. If you are in Bangalore, dont miss Lalbagh, Cubbon Park, the pubs near MG Road, or a quick visit to nearby Mysore.
