The most beautifull city in europe!

Thessaloniki is a beautifull city! If you are in to history you can visit the ancient byzantine monuments such as the city walls which from the top of the city offer great views, the white tower, the kamara and byzantine churches which many have catacombs under them and offer a "mystical" experience! Thessaloniki has a amazing nightlife, there's always something to do and the atmosphere during dusk and throughout the whole night is vibrant and magical! Make sure you visit the ladadika district and walk along the promenate which when the weather is clean you can have excellent views accross the bay of mount. olympus!! other sites can inlcude a drive up to "seih sou" which is a forest and from up there you can have beaytifull views of the whole city! ...Outside the city you can visit the suburbs of agia triada or mihaniona which offer beautifull beaches, restaurants and tavernas and you can also drive to halkidiki which is not far and there you can relax on the most beaustifull beaches the greek mainland has to offer! thessaloniki is a great city ..often overshadowed by athens and not known by many but for everyone going to greece thessaloniki is a must! the beauty of the city, the food, the people, the shopping, the promenate and the beaches will make you want to come back!

A Trully wonderfull place, if u know where to go.

Besides the byzantine sites, white tower,Rotonda,Gallerius palace and arch and the castles(ano poli),spend some time to check the student life around rotonda.Check the beach and the paralel streets Nikis Avenue Or Coromila street,they have many places to go for a drink or sth to eat.There r many small ships available for a night drink while sailing.Tsimiski street is cool for shopping.Athonos Squareand Bit-pazzar r wonderfull if u want to taste greek cuisine.During the summer,all the night clubs r gathered in the airport area.Halkidiki is 1 HOUR away,yahoo to see what Halkidiki means :)

Thesalloniki Rules!

A truly great place. Spent a few days while visiting the superb Porto Carras resort in the middle leg (Sithonia) of the peninsula of Chalkidiki. While in Thessaloniki dont forget to visit the archeological & byzantine museum, eat at "ladadika" and during the night go to "Mylos". While in Chalkidiki a boat trip to Mountain Athos is an unforgetable experience.

Chosen by the Gods!

Second largest city in Greece, ooozing history from every corner, some of the nicest & friendliest Greeks you will find, food to make you think you are in heaven, AMAZING night life and about an hours drive from Chalkidiki with some of the best beaches in Greece. Just avoid driving towards Chalkidiki on weekends during summer months as the roads are very busy.

THE MOST INTERESTING CITY IN GREECE.THE FRENDLIEST AND POLITEST PEOPLE I HAVE EVER MET.STUNNING SCENERES,EXCELLENT HOTELS,DELICIOUS FOOD!!!THE BEST NIGHT LIFE ALL OVER EUROPE.I CAME LAST MONTH JUST FOR TEN DAYS AND IAM STILL HERE!
