I can't believe the bad publicity and the lack of information!
the information given here is so poor...i've seen some of the recomendations given for going out at night...I mean please, give me a break! a movie theater in el centro, that picture is not even in downtown, and we have incredible new shopping malls, and many places to go out at night....apparently they asked the wrong people and stayed in the wrong place. I can see that the bad publicity can only be given by ignorant gringos who never have even travelled by plane, believe me...there are a lot of those. what..you think there is no life outside of the U.S.? Get some education and some culture, then maybe you can make your comments!

i really didnt like it because people looked at me werid and they were very disrespectful to me and my family aka "the kids" but the hotel we stayed in had a breath taking view of the ocean and the trees. -Nike montalbano

an amazing culture full of life like no other latinos anywhere,the salvadoreans are so warm hearted,even though the country's negative past.the people give the true meaning of hard workers.

I stayed in La Paz a few miles out of San Salvador. I visited the Beaches and some pools in Michamichen. I missed out on the Volcano, so I am going back in February. The Climate was awsome, It is very tropical there, and I enjoyed the foods. Much to do, much to see and experiance. Time goes slow.
