Best Holiday ever!

I loved the Casa Marina Beach hotel so full of atmosphere the staff are friendly and you can get what you want when you want its great.

it won us over in the end casa marina beach

after changing rooms three times from mold infested smelly bedrooms fag burnt bathrooms we ended up in a reasonable room over looking the middle pool. which was allocated to german visitors who it must be said seem to get a better deal from this hotel. other than that slow start to the holiday we had a wonderful relaxing time. we even got to grips with the pushy market traders who invade the complex every other night. complex in the main needs a good lick of paint to revive the rooms but the grounds are kept immaculate. Buffets and resturants reasonable but a bit boring after a week. The waiters, bar staff and chambermaids were always cheerful and willing to help. plenty of activities for younger set, activity leaders work very hard. always other people to talk to mainly in the fantastic jacuzzi's with a cocktail over looking the bay and watching the sun go down. Would recommend the monster truck safari. take plenty of pens pencils books pencil sharpeners etc as well as a few sweets tooth brushes and tooth paste come in useful for the local children. Just to see their faces made our holiday. we will be going back next year but probably to try a different area.

Wish I was still there!

Before I went to the Casa Marina Resort, I read some reviews that had me afraid to go. Well, I don't know where they came from because this resort was great. We arrived late in the afternoon, and within 15 minutes I was dancing with the locals at the beach. The people were awesome, the food was good, drinks were great and the beach is absolutely beautiful. We spent most of our days in the jacuzzi overlooking the beach, and met lots of people. The rooms are pretty clean and comfortable, with balconies overlooking the pool. All in all, it was a wonderful experience and I would definately go back.

I Love It

Puerto Plata has the best beaches in the world. The hotels are great and the service are great. There you can really learn about our culture and the way we live. Our food is great and there's places and things you thought you would never see. Beaches that are virgin that are now being discovered by tourisms.
