We have stayed several times at this spectacular apartment in Old Town Dubrovnik - within the historical walls. The apartment holds lot of historical value as the building it sits on was once a Monestary in history and is one of the few buildings that survived the war. Apartment Lobrovic is perched in the most perfect location, with a teraace facing the Adriatic sea where we enjoyed most of our meals ... absorbing the spine-tingling views! The apartment features a terrace, 2 bedrooms, a bathroom, a kichen, a living room and was fully equiped to make our stay feel at home! All windows of the apartment offer magnificent views of the old town, the sea and the islands! We would highly recommend this to anyone wanting a special place to stay in Dubrovnik that makes you feel at home. Unique Qualities: We think this is probably one of the only Apartments in Old Town Dubrovnik available for renting with such a fantastic location with vistas beyond your imagination. The ambience in the Apartment is very warm, making you feel at home and all the facilities are modern .... The apartment was spacious, clean and quiet and steps away to the charming Bar Buza--the hole in the wall that overlooks the Adriatic. www.dubrovnik-sunshine.com/Apartment-Lobrovic.htm

(Report Problem)You do not have to be interested in history or architecture to enjoy Dubrovnik. Being a university town it is a "young city" with numerous concerts, a theatre, an opera, shops, markets and greater scores of great seafood restaurants that you would expect to find in a 70.000 population small town carrying a thousand years of history with pride. Parking can be very troublesome if you get close to the old town. Be prepared to pay and look out for the kiosk and official parking attendants where you can buy a "Parkirna Karta".
Great for: Beaches, Scuba/Snorkeling, History/Culture, Family Holidays

(Report Problem)Walking along the top of the old city wall around the town. There is a small fee to do this, but it is worth it. You climb very high up and the view of the city, roof tops and sea is spectacular. There are stone walls on either side of walkway, but climbing the stairs is a little scary; they are steep and not much room with people passing, going the opossite direction. When looking at the old buildings you can see several gunshot holes from past battles.
