Anxious to return
The staff & service were great even at 2 A.M. upon my arrival & check-in (Feb 2-14, 2005). I ordered a hotel limo which met me at the Bangkok airport & also took me there on the 14th. I would highly recommend this 5 * hotel & I will stay there again soon & on future trips.

executive suite
although it has an almost sterile feel to it, the hotel lobby is very impressive with its marble and stairway. unfortunatly it seems as though everyone there smokes, and it does make the air rather stale in the lobby/bar area. the bedroom was wonderful, with a king bed with firm matress. the bathroom was large and impressive. recommended.

J W Marriott Bangkok
We stayed at the JW Marriott for about a week. The service was supurb. The location is very desirable located right by the mass tranisit skytrain. We dined every morning on the balcony. The staff was very courteous and took very good care of us. I think they are not real accoustomed to children traveling with their parents. They were very interested in playing with my sons!

nice hotel - great for business travelers
nice, clean hotel. very central location (near to various lines of public transportation). rooms were nice - some can be conjoined, which helps if you are travelling with others. staff is friendly / knowledgable. there is a mcdonalds across the street (for those dying for a bit of home ...) and a small shopping mall. there is a nice sized gym, as well as an outdoor pool (which feels great in the sometimes oppressive bangkok heat).
