One of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. Very handy for all the theme parks for non-drivers as you have the option of using either the shuttle service or the towncar taxis which were always available when we needed them without having to wait.

The hotel and it's views are beautiful. Although it's restaurants are very pricey, they have great food. I found the hotel to be very clean, and all employees very accomodating. It is well worth a stay, I know we will be back.

Beautiful hotel and pool. My kids wanted to spent all day at the pool instead of going to the parks. The food court was very convenient.

This is a very nice resort hotel, and is literally 15 minutes from the magic kingdom, without getting on I-4. There is a very nice pool with kids pool and sand play area. There's also a nice (although small) food court/restaurant area inside the hotel.

I had the opportunity to stay at the World Center this past week, and have
to say that I was sadly disappointed. The Front desk staff was very
friendly and helpful, however, their Supervisors/Managers are not. Karina
(I believe this is how you spell it) was very arrogant and rude not just to
me, but to her front desk staff as well. She was very snippy while trying
to clear up a computer problem with, apparently, a fairly new employee, and
had no patience whatsoever with the young girl behind the desk. Very poor
management skills. A Marriott hotel is only as good as it's staff.
Sadly, the front desk desk, and I mean a HUGE front desk, their staff has
to deal with managers such as this.
I plan on sending Corporate
Marriott a letter regarding management at the World Center, as it is a
shame that such a beautiful resort cannot find more qualified
managers.

If you don't have your heart set on staying within the Disney complex and are looking for a top-notch resort, the Marriott Orlando World Center is an excellent choice. The parks are only a few minute drive away. It boasts a huge pool complex, nice rooms, and a variety of dining options. The hotel itself is huge! Be forewarned that if you self-park you will have a bit of a hike to get back to the lobby.

The Marriott Orlando World Center is one of my favorites...it has a terrific pool area, excellent dining selections and the rooms are spacious, well appointed and comfortable. The staff is very much dedicated to providing excellent customer service.

First of all, this Marriott is huuuge. They have the largest pool in Florida (and that's just one of the many pools in the hotel), complete with waterslides and waterfalls. The rooms are very nice, what you would expect from a Marriott. It's not quite as close as staying at one of the park hotels, and I was stunned that they charged a fee to take the Disney shuttle (getting to Universal & Sea World is free). But that is the trade-off of staying at a non-park hotel, I guess. Overall you get a nicer hotel for the money spent. A very nice choice for this area.
