Try oak Harbor

Oak Harbor is central to the best of the Puget Sound. Deception Pass has nice hiking trails, and there great beaches along the west side of Whidbey Island with views of the Olympic Peninsula, and even Canada on clear nights. Oak Harbor is great place to stay if your looking to get a little taste of all that the Puget Sound area has to offer.
