Though not as well known as the Oriental or Regent, the Sukothai is the best hotel in Bangkok. The rooms are fantastic. The service may be the best in the world and the food is phenomenal. Having lived in Bangkok for 5 years, I've seen all the places and when I travel back, this is the place I stay.
