Cassidy's is an ideal budget stay in the centre Dublin. The restuarant is very nice and the food is lovely, although the menu doesn't change from day to day which can get quite boring. Rooms are comfortable and well designed though unfortunately our room smelt strongly of cigarettes and this smell did not disappear even when we aired the room and sprayed air freshner. We were told by a rather disinterested receptionist that they didn't have any other rooms and to use the air conditioning, which was of no help. Apart from this the hotel was what you would expect from a three star rating. Staff were generally very helpful and they held our luggage for us on the morning of departure.

The staff were very welcoming, efficient and helpful, even offering to hold our luggage for the day after we checked out in the morning! The room was very clean, and beds were confortable, and we really enjoyed the breakfast. We felt that this was really great value for money and look forward to our next stay there.
