I arrived quite late in the evening on the last Ryanair flight from London Gatwick and I hadn't booked any hotel! Fortunately, I was glad they still had one room for me! The room was particular, as it was the only room which has a name instead of a number (the Chairman's room). I was a little bit desapointed by the furnishing which I found somewhat old-fashionned . The bathroom was not state of the art neither.. But the ideal location of the hotel at the heart of the city centre is a definite good point.
Great for: Nightlife

This hotel is near all the action, which may not be a good thing for everyone. If you have a room facing the street, you are not going to get much sleep, as this is basically the equivilent of bourbon street in N'Orleans. The drinking generally does not stop until around 4, and the Irish get a little loud. You are within walking distence of grafton street (maybe 5 minute walk), as well as all the great bars (temple bar is maybe 200 ft away as is gogarty's pub). A great location to party!!

Was a nice, clean room with an accommodating staff. Was in the best area of Dublin for nightlife. Beds were a bit small as were the rooms. We had a room facing the busy Temple Bar streets, but it wasn't too loud. I recommend this hotel for those comfortable in European style accommodations.
