The Mercer is an OK hotel. For the price, I wouldn't recommend it at all. The location is great and the restaurant and bar downstairs are great. Service isn't very good and the rooms are so small. I would suggest the Soho Grand or the Thompson Hotel over the Mercer.

We decided to spend a romantice weekend in the city and we decided to stay at the Mercer Hotel...we made the right choice. The location was ideal in Soho and our spacious room, that had a fireplace and overlooked the courtyard. Our interesting place to hang out is the below-ground restaurant that featured tasty dishes and a good place to unwind after a long day of shopping and enjoying the sights.

The Mercer is one of those ultra-trendy, uber-styly hot spots that seems to typify NY. If you are a slave to what's hot, you can't miss this hotel. The bathrooms are stocked with Face Stockholm products and it's located steps from all the great Soho shopping. The rooms are beautiful, nicely furnished; they don't have any of that "hotel" feel. It's more like you're staying with your ultra-stylish friend who happens to live in one of the coolest pads in town.

The Mercer Hotel is worth the high cost. I love the location and the hotel itself is beautifully modern. The service is fantastic - extremely accommodating. They offer many conveniences such as WIFI and a great bar to meet business associates or friends. It's a lot more fun than other luxury hotels in NY.

I love to stay at the Mercer. It is the most hip hotel in town. Located in the middle of the SOHO district, this place is heppening. Great service, lots of bars and restaurants. Please visit the Mercer Kitchen if you can. Not the cheapest place in town, but defenetly a place to see and be seen.
