Would I go back?

I will go back only because of the pool and the pool bar. the employees were very nice. the managment needs improvment. It was very noisy, we were unable to sleep for 3 nights. In the mornign 5:30am kids running, people talking very loud. we complained managment did'nt do anything. do not drink their coffee and tea. very expensive. pay attention when they come to check the mini bar. they try to charge you for items, that we did not eat or drink. I will only go back for the pool, the beach, and the pool bar.

Tropical Garden

A stay at this hotel makes one feel like royalty. The rooms are luxurious with awesome ocean views, the service is excellent, and it has a beautiful pool with swim-up bar. The landscaping is lush and you always feel like you're in a garden, while the interior is built to impress, and it does! Restaurants serve up delectable dishes, a bit pricy for Cancun. If you want to treat yourself to a rather expensive tropical Mexican holiday, this is the place!!!

Pass on the Grand Coral Beach

Our experience was poor. The hotel is beautiful and the staff is constantly sweeping sand from the lobby floors. Too bad the service does not continue throughout the property. We had to ask 3 and 4 times for things, the noise level from other floors and the rooms next door was awful. There was a mixup with restaurant reservations within the hotel and the management could not have cared less. We loved Cancun, but would stay at another hotel -- not the Grand Coral Beach. This property did live up to its $400 a night price tag. Also, if one more person had asked us about timeshares, I would have screamed.

Great hotel

We really enjoyed our stay. My son loved the Fiesta Kids service for babysitting. We were able to walk to a ton of resturants and shops. I loved the view looking out on to the ocean and Isla Mujeres (sp?) I highly recommend this hotel.

Never again!

I was offered a twin bed room when i specifically requested a king size bed and even when i told them it was my 25th wedding anniversery they were completely indifferent offering to change my room in three days!!! I was checking in on a Thursday and thought that it would surely be no problem to get the room i had paid for. They told me that Wednsday would have been better.When we checked out on the following Wednsday they were doing the exact same thing to a couple who were on their honeymoon! Also, i had to ask for maid service twice after 4:30 when we came back to the room to find it unmade.Even though it's a beautiful hotel in good location with all suite rooms i will never consider going back there again.

Noisy rooms & mexican revenge!

Loved our room and view, the pools where great and the beach very nice. The waiters and bartenders where great. However, I would not go back. The hotel is a convention hotel and the convention area is so noisey that it permiated up 5 floors into our room well into the early morning hours. It was very difficult to get to sleep! Additionally when my daughter and I became ill from eating dinner at thier 5 Diamond restaurant (ceasar salads) the managements response was (impossible it must have been something you ate for lunch) oddly enough we had had lunch at the resort. When told this they just brushed it off. The managment was unbelievably unconcerned! How this treatment of guest merits a 5 Diamond rating is beyond me. I have paid much less money and recieved much better treatment at other resorts in Cancun.
