Love the Birger!
Overall
The Birger Jarl has become our home away from home in Stockholm. We visit Stockholm at least once a year. The staff at the Birger have made us feel like part of their family. We have never had a bad experience. Many times the staff has gone beyond what was expected for us. They are a great bunch. Breakfast is typically Swedish and huge. It is wonderful. The rooms are small but we found that at the Royal Viking which cost 3 times as much. There are tons of cute shops just down the hill on Sveavagen. You won't be disappointed.
