A real San Francisco treat

five stars

The St Francis provides a great glimpse of what San Francsico is all about..cable cars, good food and great shopping. Located at the heart of Union Square, it's a perfect launching spot for your ride on the cable cars to the wharf or your shopping spree on the town. It's also close to the theatre district. Request to stay in the historic building if you want to relive the elegance of old San Francisco.

Great, not perfect, but great

four stars

This is a great hotel, especially for what we paid. Perfect location, and it is a classic, historical monument within the city. The rooms are also really nice. Things aren't 100% perfect. Bits in the lobby sometimes aren't quite right, and bits in the room sometimes are a perfect 5 stars, but overall a great experience. I would highly recommend it to anybody. - Jasper
