I stayed at The Pierre for my honeymoon in July and absoluetly had the most wonderful time. The views from our room and the service was something out of this world. Its an experience everyone should have.

My mother and I stayed at the Pierre to do some Christmas shopping last year and we loved its elegance and old style sophistication! The restaruant was also exceptional! I'd recommend this to anyone!

I recently stayed at the La Pierre and I really don't understand how a
hotel with such run down facilities and rooms can claim to be one of the
"world's finest". "Understated elegance" is a far
stretch unless this has become the term commonly used to describe a former
luxury hotel that is no longer kept up or maintaned. The bathroom looked
like something from a common Holiday Inn with cracked tile and a tub that
needed refinishing or replacement. The rooms were extremely small and
spartan to say the least.
The La Pierre is a very good example of
the usual New York hype with no real substance. Don't waste your money
unless you just like paying for ample attitude and the salaries of the
staff that are stationed in the elevators to push the correct buttons for
you.

Hotel is shared with an apartment building inhabited by old world money makers. Hotel rooms do not have views of central park or the city. Only the apartments have them. Rooms are small but really charming and classy. This is a full service hotel. There are elevator attendants in white gloves. Service is exquisite. Many rooms are booked years in advances. Peak times are christmas and New Years. A great experience to experience the culture and people around central park east.

This was my first stay at a Four Season Hotel and the Pierre lived up to the Four Seaons expectations for cservice and style. The service was excellent especially room service which provided a candle lit and champagne driven romantic dinner for us. Our room was psacious and well appointed. Perfection for a hotel!
