Nice room, OK buffet, smelly casino
We only stayed one night ... arrived on Monday at 11:00 p.m. and could not check in to our timeshare until 4:00 p.m. Tuesday. Very nice, roomy, elegant room with a superb morning view of the mountains. Breakfast buffet was good but not fancy. The casinos had the worst smoke of any casino we visited that week ... horrible air handlers, I assume. Great self and valet parking ... used them both during our week-long visit. On our last day, when relatives checked in to the Hilton for a convention, we ate at the dinner buffet. Food was pretty good and beer/wine were complementary.

Great Hotel
The service was great and everyone was very helpful. Room was clean and in a nice location. We would stay there again.

Older Hotel - But Still in Good Shape
Hotel is off the beaten path, which was nice (we had a rental car). All of the LV Hilton staff was friendly, professional and courteous. We were situated on a non-smoking floor and saw very few guests during our 4-night stay here. Is everyone but me and my wife (and about 6 other people) a smoker??? The parking garage was a bit of a hike; but that's par for Vegas, I suppose. And we were hit up for "chump change" only once (on the hotel's surface lot). On balance, a great value @ Yahoo!'s $69 negotiated rate. We would stay there again - all things being equal. Thanks, Yahoo!

Good value; Not the most exquisite hotel in Vegas
We got our room as part of a package through Expedia.com. The value was excellent for such a full-service hotel. The Hilton is aging however, despite remodeled rooms. While I didn't visit the Star Trek Experience, the casino area just outside seemed like it was straight out of the 80s. The casino needs a decor upgrade. The Paradise cafe was very poorly managed and had a poor menu selection. The staff of the hotel was courteous and helpful overall. The business center was very helpful and well-stocked. I was a bit surprised at how every little service seemed to cost extra. The hotel's location is great if you like to get away from the noise and crowds of the strip. It's also about halfway between the big strip hotels and downtown Las Vegas and very close to the convention center. Don't be concerned about the distance from the strip; the monorail is quite convenient. We ordered a 4 day monorail pass ($25 each)and had them sent to us in the mail a month in advance. Overall, the Las Vegas Hilton was a good choice even if it is a little frayed around the edges and the food choices are inadequate. I recommend Mandalay Bay buffet!

Viva Las Vegas....
The hotel was very clean, and just of the stripe. A quick monorail ride back to all the new hotels. I would stay here again. Got a affordable price, for a 3 night stay.

las experience
the hotel was great, very clean and has alot ammendities. Tje location is off the strip and is a way from the excitement, but there is a lot of trnaspertation to and from the hotel

WORST VEGAS HOTEL
The worst service I have ever experienced in Vegas. The front desk personnel, including managemnet were rude and non attentive.

Feels Like Home
I have been staying at the Hilton Las Vegas for the last 12 years. Many times I have booked for 2 rooms and everyone was extremely happy. The Steak House is fabulous. The only thing I'm not to happy about is the new owner have done away with weekend specials for thier loyal customers. Some people cannot take off during the week. Please see if you can do something for us again, otherwise I don't know if I'll be able to use your hotel anymore. It always felt like home when I was visiting you.
