Overall

This is a small city with a nice but not overly glamorous atmosphere. The local community is friendly but somewhat insular at the same time. The beaches and water are not Florida but the wildlife is beautiful and the air is fresh. It is fairly quiet in the off season but there are crowds of young people during spring break. It is different and a nice break from the other tourist towns I have been to. I would recommend it for mature couples in the off season or people that want to get away to a quiet seaside place.
