The most beautiful place in the whole of Ireland, spectacular Castle, with a unique history and magical gardens that tells stories of centuries past as it is home to a Dolmen(Druids Burial Ground) Witches kitchen, wishing steps, fairy glade, ancient yew and oak trees...absolutely amazing day out..A MUST SEE!!!

(Report Problem)Blarney Castle was amazing...the trek to the top is unbelievable...lots of
walking, lots of stairs. Well worth it to get to the top and kiss the
Blarney
Stone. The Castle grounds are beautiful and very scenic. I would
do it again. Ireland is magnificent.

(Report Problem)This was one of the highlights of my trip to Ireland. The gardens were closed when I was there, but the castle itself is amazing. Kissing the Blarney Stone was great and I would have been upset if I didn't do it. I loved seeing the surroundings with the fairy garden, witches kitchen, etc. Definetly would go see again.

(Report Problem)This privately owned castle must have the world's best marketing department, but then they decided to scrimp on the tours and signage. Though the castle ruins are extensive and it is in a beautiful setting, there is no explanation of the history or significance of what you are seeing. So while great as a climbing gym for the kiddies, not so great for those who love history. If interested in Norman history try the Heritage tours of Cahir Castle instead.
