I loved the light show with the great music. The beer venders had large, inexpensive beers. Other than the construction that was going on while we were there, it was a great experience.

(Report Problem)Been to Vegas twice and stayed on the Strip Going back in April and staying downtown. How many times can you watch a boat sink or a mountain blow up. if your going to Vegas to gamble downtown is the place to be.

(Report Problem)The light show was the best part. Was a little disappointed in the lack of vendors.

(Report Problem)people at gaming tables more friendly and helpful. I didn't feel as intimadated playing downtown than on the Strip. Plus we found great hotel bargains. We stayed at the golden nugget one year and our room was wonderful!

(Report Problem)Not a place to take the kids...They can't even do anything! But if it's all adults then it's a place for them.

(Report Problem)We stayed at the Bellagio and the front desk person told us to stay away from downtown and skip the Freemont Street Experience because it wasn't worth it. Well, I have been to Vegas 2 times before and I couldn't believe she told tourists that, my mouth just dropped! I LOVE Freemont Street! It is well worth going to. My husband has never been to Vegas before and he said he would rather stay off the strip next time we come to be closer to Freemont Street. He thinks it was wonderful as well! It is a great time, wouldn't miss it!

(Report Problem)My fiance and I stayed in Vegas for ten days and went one night to the Fremont Street Experience. It is kind of a must-see, because you got to see old school Vegas at least one time while you are there. Fremont Street is in downtown Las Vegas where all the old-timer hotels are. This area is nothing like the new Las Vegas. We had rented a car while we were in Vegas, so we drove to downtown Vegas and it was at night (as we wanted to see the light show), and we were a little concerned about parking our car. The area is just dingy and gross. The casinos smell like ashtrays-old, old stale smoke. The clientele around in this area is kind of mixed-a lot of tourists coming from the strip, and then what looks like "regulars". But it was neat (and worth it) just to go and see the free light show, which is pretty cool, and we also indulged in a deep fried twinkee! LOL And then we got the heck out of there and back to the strip!
