I spent several years living in and around Tulsa OK. My Dad was born there. I still have a brother, sister, two neices and several "distant" relatives living there. I spent most of my youth in Missouri. Every time my Dad moved us to Oklahoma, we lost what little we had accumulated while away from the state. People friendly? What a joke. People courteous? That state invented the word rude. All I have read are "glowing" reviews. You want the truth - let's see you post this. If I have to go to Texas, I go thru Arkansas.

(Report Problem)When my daughter and I came to live in Tulsa we were so surprised with how friendly everyone was. We had to move away and now we are planning to move back within the next year. I have never felt so safe and happy. My daughter always talks about how nice everyone was and how clean Tulsa was. She asks if we can go visit on weekends. Out of all the places we have traveled to Tulsa by far is the best place we have ever been.

(Report Problem)I live in Okalhoma, but I am going to school in New York. Oklahoma is one of the saftest states to raise a family. The tornados are often in the spring, but if there is a storm shelter it should not be much of a problem. Also, everything is cheap. When I came to New York for school, I was shocked at the price of things. Okalhoma residents and visitors pay much less for goods than other states.

(Report Problem)My husband and I love Tulsa. It is close but far enough away that we know we aren't home. The people are warm and friendly and there is alot to do. The show Oklahoma is a must when we go to Tulsa and the ranches are terrific just south of Tulsa. Just a nice place to get away.

(Report Problem)I had made a reservation for December 25th 2004, I specifed that I needed two king size beds, upon arriving we went to our room, we found no heat and two full size beds, we were then given another room, with the king size beds, the heat in this room never shut off, making it either hot or very drafty(from the windows) when taking a bath the hot water faucetts were on backward, and very little hot water came out, the cold water was very strong in coming out,so we had no bath, the coffee in the room was old and stale. on the morning of the 26th we went down to the "Breakfast" it was terrible the toaster was not safe as it burnt the toast, and the jelly all Apple was so stiff you could not spread it on the toast, the "milk and orange juice" sign was hid and we had to look for it at the end of the serving bar, over all it was terrible, we are planning bi weekly visits to Tulsa and hoped we could stay at your motel but we will never stay at another Days Inn ever . there are too many nice motels that are much safer and have better service than yours Gary Redman
