All things change and not for the better

one star

I have been going to Knotts for over 50 years. I was trully disappointed my last visit. I will probably will not be back. Since the Knott family sold the property it has steadly declined. The matince is not anywhere near tha way it used to be, The food selection not good. They closed my favorite restraunt(the Steak House ) is history. The new owners have discontinued 90% of the jams, jellies, preseves, pickeles and relishes they had when the Knotts owend the place. It was just shabby

Dont waste your vacation time or money

two stars

Extremely disappointed in Knotts Berry Farms. It has been several years since our last visit and our party could not believe how it has changed. The park has been consumed by these large coasters that are scattered wherever there is room. The efforts to add these rides has totally compromised the parks original "theme". Many rides were not running. Several shops were not open. And there was no security. We nearly left after the first hour but decided to stick it out for the popular chicken dinner. Upon entering the restaurant however, our group and many others were left waiting for several minutes before even being acknowleged. There was no hostess to greet customers. We finally had to hunt someone down and although we had resevations, other groups as large as ours were seated first. I suppose if you are looking for an amusement park atmosphere for your family, Knotts is moderately entertaining. If this is part of your family vacation, stick to Disneyland, you get what you pay for.

Awesome! dream of my day EVERYDAY!

five stars

Knotts Berry farm is the ultimate expierience! With gut wrenching thrills, Binding speed coasters, Knotts is proudly offering 3 of the worlds fastest/tallest/steepest thrill attractions. With One being ghostrider the ultimate wooden coaster in the top 5 of woodies on the planet, 2 being Xcelerator The first rocked/hydraulic launching coaster in the world, and 3 the mighty steep water flume ride "Perilous Plunge" Just 30 ft shy of mighty niagra falls, This attraction chains riders up the hill and turns to the worlds tallest water drop. I recommend this park to EVERYONE, with the worlds famous "Camp snoopy" There are a pool of a selection for knotts berry farms more "Smaller" guests to ride. The newest roller coaster by b&m is "Silver Bullet" Sending riders threw a 105ft loop and leave them craving for more, Silver Bullet is californias longest suspended steel roller coaster. However not every theme park is perfect, My last visit to knotts berry farm july 23rd,2005 I had a little more downtime than I expected, With riptide, ghostrider, jaguar! breaking down I was forced to aware knotts of sever downtime they had. On the other hand I give knotts berry farm 5 stars for Having more than just one type of coaster, FUN FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY!

Definately not the best thing in Southern California

three stars

The pros to start with, some fun roller coasters, and scary one, and great free falls. The negatives are sometimes the crowd seems a bit rough, not special compared to DisneyLand, nothing for adults who get motion sickness to do. Concerts and special activities are great such as Knotts Scary Farm, or others. But if you have time in California you have to see Disneyland, Disney California, and Sea World before you even consider Knotts Berry farm, your local amusement park is similar to Knotts.
