I was first introduced to the Eagle Mountain Inn in 1993. Off the beaten path (quiet), yet it’s only a few minuets to shopping, skiing, golf, etc. It’s a classic grand hotel with a carriage house and a verandah that spans the entire length of the hotel (a place my wife and I have spent many summer nights watching the sun set from its numerous wooden rocking chairs. Flowers adorn the porch and front of the hotel and the view of the mountains is spectacular. The staff was always helpful and courteous. The entire Inn and its surrounds are “classic New England charm”. The dining room has five star food at a three star price! When in season, their five berry pie is the closest you will get to heaven on earth!
