Davenport - Great Location, Fine Hotel, Pleasant Staff

If your focus on visiting Dublin is visiting the downtown area, staying in the Merrion Square area is a great place to be. The Davenport is a lovely hotel within a block of Merrion Square. \n \nMy only complaint is that charging 13 Euros for a half hour use of the Business Center is pretty outrageous. Otherwise, I have no complaints about the hotel.

Very good Hotel in the Heart of Dublin

i was very pleased with the hotel stay. the rooms were large (by european stds), well appointed (king bed, sitting area, desk, high speed internet, etc...) and clean and the staff was very friendly. the location could not have been better... it was a short walk from just about everything we wanted to do.
