This impressive, five-star, luxury hotel belongs to the exclusive Leading Hotels of the World category. It's located on the waterfront and surrounded by gardens, fountains and subtropical vegetation. The architectural style is based on the model of a traditional Andalusian country estate (hacienda) with Arabic influences and it is finished in flamingo-pink paint. The painter and interior designer Marie de Troostembergh created the interior. Her canvases of imaginary landscapes adorn the bedroom walls alongside the cane furniture, delicate fabrics and soft pastel tones. Many bedrooms have their own private lounges with wicker furniture and terraces with views of the sea or the gardens.
