23 Upper O'Connell Street, Dublin, 1, Ireland…
More and Maps
Newly refurbished but still retaining all the charm of one of Dublin's oldest hotels, the Gresham is located centrally on historic O'Connell Street. The Gresham has certainly aged well: the façade is really gorgeous, with a nod to the new in its smoky green glass awning, but it's generally a hotel with Old World charm. The lobby is a great place for morning coffee or tea in the afternoon, and the bedrooms are well furnished and comfortable.

Everything was outstanding. We would definitely stay at the Gresham when we return to Dublin. The saff in particular were lovely and made our stay very enjoyable.
21 Feb 2007 | A Yahoo! UserThis is not a 4 star hotel... they have only renovated part of the hotel. We were initially put in the old wing and that room barely rated 2 stars... the hangers in the closet could not be removed to hang your clothes, the shower curtain only closed about halfway around... no better than a Motel 6. We complained and were luckily moved to the new wing which was much better but still lacked some of the amenities of a 4 star hotel. There was no clock in either room, making it necessary to call the desk for a wake up call. Also, you have to ask at the front desk for any messages. Lastly, the refridgerator did not work and there was no air-conditioning as advertised. The heating system was not really under our control, either off or sickly hot. \n \nIt's an OK hotel if you can be sure that you are going to be in the newer/renovated wing. I doubt that I would ever stay here again unless I had that guarantee in writing.
05 Jun 2005 | A Yahoo! UserThere really wasnt any frills to this hotel. If I go back I would stay here as a last resort. It was way too pricey.
