A pioneering deluxe hotel in Metro Manila, Inter-Continental was known for its coffee shop where life-sized jeepneys were used as dining booths. A six-month renovation in 1993 brought larger guest rooms but diminished the coffee shop's charm with only miniature decorative jeepneys remaining. The spacious Grand Ballroom is the perfect venue for all kinds of events. Located at the top of Ayala Avenue, Inter-Continental stands in the heart of Makati's commercial/financial district. Offices, banks, airlines, embassies, shops, cinemas, restaurants and bars are all within walking distance.

i can't wait to have breakfast there!!

the food in the restaurants are great!!especially in the jeepney cafe!!they should update the rooms because it's a bit old and outfashioned with the other hotels in the area.the staff are very accomodating!!very pretty receptionists too!!

Look elsewhere for a good hotel

I met someone affiliated with Intercontinental at the airport who wanted to charge me 27 USD for a ride to the hotel. We haggled down to 500 pesos.

The room I was assigned is well apportioned with lots of amenities, however, the carpet was stained as was the bed cover.

The representative at the concierge desk charged me 1250 pesos (23 USD) for a ride to the airport. I know. I wasn't thinking. I was jet lagged. I paid. The driver promptly dropped me off at the wrong terminal. I had to take another taxi to Centennial 2.

This hotel is very popular with business travelers, but the quality I observed was less than that of a Holiday Inn.
