This small, friendly, family-run hotel is built around a vine-covered patio where you can dine by the light of hanging lanterns and the sound of a gurgling brook. Meals are home-cooked and reasonably-priced. The bedrooms are comfortable and clean and they overlook either the patio or the Alhambra gardens. Colourful woven bedspreads and curtains from the Alpujarras add a bright and cheery touch. The sitting room downstairs is crowded with interesting old family heirlooms including china, pottery, ornaments, photos, rocking chairs and sofas. The location is ideal for visiting the Alhambra and the prices offer good value for money.

Loved it!

I loved this hotel. I stayed there for two or three nights a few years back, and it was fantastic. The location is perfect for trips to the Alhambra, and the staff is great. Manuel, if he is still there, is great!

Best location

The location is the best in Granada. I you hate big impersonal hotels, then this is the one for you. Not a big, luxurious hotel, but small, quaint and very friendly.
