Highly recommend Cedar Gables Inn. \nMy wife and I just got back from Napa and found Ken and Susie to be wonderful hosts. They were very knowledgeable about the area, and gave us some great ideas for dining and site seeing. Susie serves up a great breakfast in the morning and they both serve up wonderful conversation each night in their charming yet masculine “Tavern” room where guest are treated with cheese and local wines. Interesting antiques are scattered throughout the other comfortable and inviting common rooms. There are several little nooks where one could read undisturbed or play a game of chess. From what we saw, each bedroom is totally different. We stayed in the Count Bonzi room, which was a very large and highly detailed room with its own fireplace and whirlpool tub. We had a great time and highly recommend Cedar Gables Inn. \nThey have a website: www.cedargablesinn.com
05 Jun 2005 | A Yahoo! UserWe got away for a romantic weekend and the Cedar Gables Inn was the perfect place to do it. Ken and Susie, the new owners, met us at the door and made us immediately feel welcome. The inn is absolutely fabulous and very conducive to our romantic weekend. The breakfast was great and their wine and appetizer hour was so much fun we hated to leave. Beds are plush, jacuzzis were fun, and the romance package they provided was perfect. We love this place, have told our friends about it and will be back - soon.
05 Jun 2005 | A Yahoo! UserThere are new owners of the Cedar Gables, Susie and Ken Pope, as of 8/2004. They do a super job of making everyone welcome. There's lots of talk - about wineries, restaurants, experiences - every morning at breakfast and every evening at their wine and cheese happy hours. Susie and Ken are so nice that everyone joins in and has a good time. Great rooms, a neat older house, and the breakfasts - really good. Susie used to run a cooking school, and it shows. A wonderful B&B experience!
