Located in the heart of Barcelona's Eixample district, on one of its busiest streets, this four-star hotel offers impeccable service at a reasonable price. Walk out of the front door and you enter one of the most distinguished neighborhoods in the city. The hotel opened in late 1991. The bedrooms are decorated in modernist Barcelona Design style and most of them have balconies. The façade itself is very attractive.

too far away from the center of town

If I were to go to Barcelona again, I would want to be closer to the Ramblas and Barri Gotic. Also, the hotel was comfortable and pleasant, but charged extra for all telephone calls, including local calls and calls charged to a calling card. It also charged for the safe in the room at the hefty fee of around $5 a day!! Go somewhere else!
