Hotel Kheops: Overview

Punishment facility !!!

Stayed there 25/07-04/08.2008. At check-in I was given a dirty room, after I insisted they gave me another one. The staff is very lazy and unhelpful. When they tell you "in a minute" that means in the next 4-5 hours. The hotel is built 30 years ago, everything is old, dirty, smelly and shabby. They take your towels 9am, and they give you new ones about 4-5 pm. It's the same with the sheets, so if you want to take a nap or a shower between 9 AM and 5 PM, you're gonna have to do it at the beach. There's a big and dirty pool, so as the restaurant. The food is strictly tunisian, so everything is hot and spicy. The beach is some 500m from the hotel, and especially on weekends, croweded by locals. All in all, I regret going to Tunisia and choosing this hotel. A holiday disaster !!!
