An intimately seductive escape from the hustle and bustle of the Las Vegas strip, the Palms Casino Hotel aims to please the hip, the sophisticated and the decadent. Once home to MTV's "The Real World: Las Vegas", this hotel now hosts the famous

What needs to be said about this chic Las Vegas casino that has not already been spread through the grapevine of the hip and cool? Well, that it actually provides the best balance in Vegas for a group of people some of who want to mix it up at the Ghost bar and others who want to gamble/watch sports. The crowds are ridiculous at times, and certainly ridiculously good looking. The Nine steakhouse is my favorite place to dine in Vegas with amazing food, decent prices (for upscale Vegas) and great people watching even if you have a 6pm reservation that was made last minute. Staying at the hotel is a good idea if you want to get into the clubs/bars without waiting in a huge line. Prepare yourself to grease just about anyone if you want extra attention/tables at these places as well. It is worth the money, though if you can afford it as the service steps it up dramatically when there is money to be made. Have fun at adult disneylands coolest place...
05 Jun 2005 | A Yahoo! UserNot only are the rooms roomy, very clean & comfy - the hotel itself has so much that you don't even have to leave if you don't want to! It's not on the "strip" but it's definately close enough if you want to hit the other bars. But The Palms has the Ghost Bar, Rain, N9NE Steakhouse and Skin Pool Lounge! They even have a movie theatre (if you need a mini mid-day break) and other places to eat if you don't want to be fancy (Sunrise Cafe - 24hrs & a food court.) Of course there is the casino and the casino bars too. Ghost Bar's view of Vegas is absolutely breathtaking and the partial glass balcony brings a daring aspect to the night which can be interesting after a few cocktails! I dare you to stand on it w/o being afraid! The Skin Pool Lounge gets a little crowded, but it's completey expected when you are in Vegas, the party never stops! The staff was absolutely wonderful - always w/ a smile and very very helpful! To top it all off, it houses the Mtv Real World Suite which can be rented out to high rollers. I will definately go back, sooner than later!!
05 Jun 2005 | kimann27Let's face it; you're not going there for the location. The Palms Casino Resort is the hotel where they filmed the Real World a few years ago. The hotel is adequate; nothing special. However you're within walking distance to Rain and the Ghost bar. In addition to the great night life, they also have a wonderful steakhouse called “Nine Steakhouse”. “Little Budda” (an Asian restaurant) is wonderfully decorated and is worth checking out for the sake.
