This hotel is characterized for its architecture and the typically multi-European atmosphere. Situated along the rivers of Trieste, the Savoia Excelsior dates to the times of the emperor Francisco Giuseppe (1830-1916) and is today one of the more noticeable hotel of the region. The atmosphere is extremely luminous, and the staff very professional. Excellent for conferences and reunions, the Savoia Ecelsior is a multi-faceted venue, which is good for anything be it culture, science, the sport, politics. It also boasts a rather fine restaurant (the Savoy Inn with 250 seated places, 300 to buffet and 350 places cocktail).
