Excellent value with a great location

I was in Auckland for a night in April of 2004. Looked around for a reasonably priced hotel and this was recommended by a friend as an excellent value. I got the last room - thankfully! The hotel is located right across from the America's Cup boat basin, so very close to shops and restaurants. And the rooms were nicely appointed and comfortable. I did look out on what looked like a highway onramp but I wasn't there for the view! If you are, be sure to ask for a room overlooking the harbor.
