This 19th-century château lies 28 kilometers (17 miles) northeast of Bordeaux. Set amidst the most famous vineyards of the region, Château de Foulon offers guests a wonderful setting in 50 hectares (123 acres) of park and woodland. The comfortable rooms are luxuriously decorated and all feature an en suite bathroom. While you cannot dine at the hotel, there are several traditional restaurants nearby that let you discover the wines and cuisine of the region. It's an ideal and beautiful place to stay, well away from the bustle and noise of the city.
