This hotel dates back to 1857 when it was known as the "Fonda Inglaterra" and housed numerous European monarchs during their visits to Seville. The building was completely renovated in 1967 and further modifications were made in 1998. It is located in the Plaza Nueva, the centre of the city, where the Town Hall stands and where the majority of the city's buses stop.
