Why are all previous reviews dated 05-June 2005?

If you can get a deep discount ~$90 a night it is worth while. It is a bit worn round the edges, the staff is generally good and occassionally excellent. The view from the 7th floor pool area is great (you don't need to be a guest to visit.) Good but not perfect!

It doesn't get any better then this!

My husband and I have stayed at this hotel many a time because of it's elegance, location, safety and friendly staff. If we can't make a reservation at the Omni Royal Orleans then we change our dates until there's a room. This is the only hotel that we want to spend our vacation at and we can't say enough about this wonderful place. We tell every one that we know when we hear they are coming to New Oreleans to stay with you and no one has been disappointed yet. We can't wait until we come back again, hopefully this summer.
