I reserved a premium corner room. I got a standard room, but they called it premium because it was on the 12th floor. Your confirmed reservations are only requests! \n \nThe room was clean but hot water came and went. In room coffee was complimentary on day one, but they charged an additonal $1 per day for more. Save your money and bring some Maxwell House singles with you. In room safes are an additional $2/day. Parking is $9.50/day. There was noticible noise from the street very early in the am. The complimentary breakfast was slight - mini doughnuts and danish, toast, coffee and pineapple juice. The A/C did not cool the room under 72-74 degrees. \n \nWhat was good: a short walk to the beach, shopping, and restaurants. In room internet worked well. (But no access to print your return boarding pass.) The staff was friendly and helpful. The in room refrigerator had a small freezer and you could make your own ice. Be sure to turn the temp to maximum so it freezes. \n \nWould I stay there again, probably, you get what you pay for.
05 Jun 2005 | diversamnoHere is what I liked and disliked about this hotel: \n1. Fitness Room-B+ \nThe Fitness Room was clean, cool and had nice equipment. The problem was, if you wanted to use it everyday, you had to get a key at the front desk.. inconvenient. \n2. The room - C- \nThe room was cleaned each day, but he lots of stains and the sink leaked. The worst thing was the air conditioning did not work and it was dreadful to try to sleep at night. We were visiting in April--the summer would be unthinkable. (I stayed in a premium corner room) \n3. Hospitality Room - A \nI liked this room as it gave people a place to check email, relax and rest until time to leave for home if after check-out time.
05 Jun 2005 | A Yahoo! UserWe spent two nights there and for the money it's not bad. Not too far from the beach. Clean, average sized rooms. Happy hour. Good for the family on a budget. First night there was a roach but no problem otherwise. $10/24 hr period for valet parking which is necessary in that area.
