Overlooking River Street and the Savannah River, this intimate hotel is convenient to the city's best parade of shops, restaurants and historic attractions. Constructed as a cotton warehouse in 1817, the Inn now boasts guest rooms appointed with antiques and brass fixtures, many with balconies and sweeping views of the river. Two restaurants are on site and a complementary wine hour is offered nightly, except Sunday.

Great Location

Great location. But, No one got to check in untill after 5:30 PM.

Worth every penny

The rooms were period and elegantly decorated. I enjoyed the relaxation and luxury of the facility. The staff figured out a way to accommodate a difficult request: we asked to be moved off the river side because a rock band was serenading us loudly on our wedding night. The staff found another room for us across the hall even though they were booked solid. The view from both rooms was spectacular; I don't think you could go wrong with either choice. The check in/put process was extremely easy. I felt like everyone there was interested in our having a special experience in their hotel.

How sad !

A great location, very interesting building and typical rooms. But service is poor, especially house keeping.
