Built in 1928 by a land-boom millionaire, this resort and spa is the epitome of casual Florida comfort teamed with elegant surroundings. It is on the National Register of Historic Places. Located directly on the white sands of the Gulf of Mexico and known for its famous pink paint job, dubbed Don CeSar Rouge, this beautiful hotel is awash in crystal chandeliers, Spanish furnishings and antique light fixtures from Mexico. GREAT VACATION.

The Don Cesar is the best hotel I've visited. The staff is so pleasant, efficient and accomodating. I highly recommend the Don Cesar to anyone who wants to feel important while on vacation. Even President Bush stayed there. The staff remembered our names and everytime we would pass the front desk they would call us by name and wish us a good day. EXCELLENT.

we can't wait to go back!

I decided to take my son to the DOn after seeing it in a movie. We had a great time. At night the hotel was just spectactular. \nWe will be returning shortly. It was a great memory for us. No other hotel compares! Francine New Jersey

Boutique but losing the cool

Nice hotel, must have been quite the place in the late 90's, but seems to be outdone by the W Hotels etc in town. \n \nAlso - front desk said they gave me a non-smoking room, but my room reeked of smoke!
